For ukulele players, how do you make a song sound interesting? Explore the variety of strum patterns, riffs, syncopation, dynamics, and all that brings out your musicality.
These five week classes will empower you with the tools to bring greater joy to your playing. Prerequisite: knowledge of basic chords (C, F, G, G7) and down and upstrokes.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
After earning her MA in Music with research on the ukulele and participative music making, Anne Ku has been developing new curriculum for all ages thereby authoring a new book for the complete beginner. Previously in Hawaii, she taught world music, music theory, music history, and class piano for which she arranged famous pieces for all levels to play together like an ensemble.
