Workshops include useful warm-up exercises to improve your rhythm, timing, listening, and playing; approach to learn new songs; tablature reading; finger style; strum techniques; transposition; ensemble playing; famous riffs; genre-specific themes; song writing with the uke.

About the instructor:
Anne Ku is author of a new book on the ukulele. Prior to moving to Boston, she taught music at University of Hawaii Maui College and earned her music degrees from the Netherlands and the UK. She performs in the Boston Guitar Orchestra. She teaches music through the ukulele in Arlington, Cambridge, Milton, and Dorchester.
