The fourth annual PorchFest Quincy returns on Saturday featuring more than 100+ bands playing in neighborhoods across the city, plus TWO beer gardens from Tapped Beer Trucks, Greater Boston's original mobile craft beer bar.
Tapped Beer Trucks will pour the best in local craft beer in both the Merrymount neighborhood (intersection of Samoset, Assabet and Pontiac streets) and on scenic Bayside Road section in the Squantum neighborhood overlooking Boston Harbor. Each location will feature live music throughout the day.
The event is free and open to the public, but there is a cash bar and the beer, of course, is 21+ only.
Chef Avi Shemtov (Chubby Chickpea Food Truck, Simcha restaurant) launched the first Tapped Beer Truck in 2017 and has since grown to a fleet of four trucks, each outfitted with an innovative, state-of-the-art mobile draft system.
