Red Heat Tavern and Geeks Who Drink team up to offer pub-style quizzes every Tuesday at Red Heat Tavern. Enjoy a rotating selection of $3 tacos – think fish, carnitas, or braised beef — and $5 House Margaritas while your test your wits with Geeks Who Drink trivia quizzes. Each night’s quiz features eight increasingly challenging rounds of eight questions each. This isn’t just for bookworms — the quiz boasts multiple rounds of audio and visual clues. The quiz is designed to reward the most versatile teams: most folks over 35 will be stumped on questions about the Xbox 360, while most Millennials will likely know less about the Reagan years. There’s no cost to enter and no need to sign up beforehand, so just show up ready to play! Each team is limited to six people, with a house team for those flying solo. Smack talk is sure to fly with some friendly competition and social drinking. After two hours of entertainment and a healthy dose of friendly taco and margarita fueled competition, the top two teams will walk away with gift certificates to Red Heat Tavern. Plus, there are email giveaways and vouchers awarded throughout the night that can be used instantly on your favorite beverage.
