Mother’s Day is about thanking Mom for all she’s done and wishing her plentiful happiness, so what gift is better than treating her to a special family-friendly experience? On Wednesday, May 10th, Bastille Kitchen, located in Boston’s Fort Point District, will join forces with the talented design team at Alice’s Table to host a special DIY floral design class; the perfect Mother’s Day-inspired activity for moms and their kids to do together!
While enjoying precious family time and hopefully a few hearty laughs along the way, attendees will learn the art of bouquet-making just in time to make use of the fresh blooms from early spring gardens, all while sipping expertly crafted cocktails and creating new memories that will last a lifetime. Held in Chalet, Bastille Kitchen’s urban, yet eclectic rustic lounge setting, guests should expect to spend about one to two hours creating their floral masterpieces, depending on the complexity of their arrangement.
Bastille Kitchen and Alice’s Table will be providing freshly cut flowers, aprons, vases, and any tools needed to create each personal flower arrangement. Once completed, guests will depart with a perfectly created springtime centerpiece and design skills that won’t soon be forgotten by each budding florist.
