Are you thinking of traveling to Israel and/or Palestine? Whatever reasons draw you there- religious, political, study, family, or pure curiosity - the region is visited by millions of tourists annually. While travel there can enriching for both personal and professional development, it can also be fraught with challenges when confronting the conflict, and maneuvering different cultures, language and personal safety and comfort.

Led by HI’s education coordinator, Liora Norwich, a lecturer on Israeli and Palestinian politics and a seasoned traveler in the region, this workshop will cover:
Where to stay, how to get around and stay safe
How to best plan your trip, what to bring, and how to prepare
Ways to engage with Israeli and Palestinian culture
