Introduction
GA + Top Rep Boston are teaming up to highlight some of Boston's most respected women that are paving the way for women in sales leadership.
Why it Matters?
According to Census data, about 59% of the US labor force is made up of women. That number drops to about 30% when we look at the tech industry. When we begin drilling down even further, only about 21% of those women hold leadership positions within these companies.
This is not a new discovery. Companies like General Electric have committed to employing 20,000 women by 2020. As we continue working to close the gender gap in the industry, it is important that we highlight women that are dominating in the tech space and have worked hard to make their way into leadership positions.
