Presented by Celebrity Series of Boston, award-winning playwright and screenwriter Tony Kushner and bestselling author Sarah Vowell examine the life’s work and legacy of Abraham Lincoln, the nation’s 16th president. Kushner penned the 1993 Tony Award-winning play Angels in America, and wrote the screenplay for Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln. Vowell, a best-selling author, journalist, essayist, social commentator and actress, has written seven nonfiction books about American history and culture, including Assassination Vacation and The Wordy Shipmates.
