Together VJ Competition

Competition curated by Jon Bonk. This event is a celebration of VJ culture, and will bring Vjs from all over in a challenge by Visual Artists, for Visual Artists. Come watch as they battle it out!

Each VJ will submit:
-VJ demo to one of 3 selected songs in its entirety

Terravita & Casey Desmond – Settle The Score (Case & Point Remix)
Durkin – let u know
Encanti – Psychic Projections (The Digital Connection Remix)
-Short bio (500 words or less)
-Picture (link)
-$10 entry fee
-Completed online application.

Submissions end on May 4th! Event on the 13th!

The top VJs will be awarded with prize packages, including full software licenses from Resolume, MadMapper, Modul8, and Touch Designer, KMI.

Live performances will be 8 minutes in length, and judges will be looking for the following traits with each performance:

- Intro
- Technical Abilities
- Showmanship
- Tricks
- Timing
- Audience Interaction
- Creativity
- Content
- Effects
- Outro

The special LIVE competition commences Tuesday, May 13th at the infamous Wonderbar in Allston!

We’re also happy to announce original gangster of VJ culture, Cambridge resident and world-respected visual artist Brian Kane will be an honored guest and judge.
