Deception and desire abound in Shakespeare's classic comedy when Christopher Sly, a tinker tricked into believing himself a nobleman, is treated to a play wherein an ornery and willful woman is "tamed" and men will stop at nothing to claim their love. The familiar story is re-imagined through a cast of characters comprised of nine women and one man, who together weave in and out of Shakespeare's layered world to create a fresh and surprising theatrical experience for all audiences.
