In what promises to be a thrilling start to the Live in HD season, soprano Anna Netrebko sings the title role of Verdi’s grand masterpiece Aida, in the 30th-anniversary performances of Sonja Frisell’s classic staging. Nicola Luisotti conducts one of the world’s most popular operas, with its cast of hundreds, spectacular sets and costumes, and brilliant score—including the famous Truimphal March
