As part of a daylong celebration of eagles at several sites in Amesbury and Newburyport, come to Joppa Flats Education Center to learn more about these magnificent animals that visit and live in our area, as well as other amazing raptors such as Snowy Owls and why our local habitat is so important for them. Choose from a number of fun family activities, arts and crafts, and games for a variety of ages with a special program from 11am to 2pm featuring live hawks from Mass Audubon’s Drumlin Farm. More activities across the road at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge
