Did school assignments about Edgar Allan Poe make your midnights dreary? Do you wish you could em-dash Emily Dickinson? Have you always wanted to pop Ernest Hemingway in the jaw? Do you objectively despise Ayn Rand? After a wildly successful first installment, Weird Love Productions has once again hired a crack team of artists to knock these authors and many more down a peg with words, music, comedy, booze, and tits at The Literary Roast. Hosted by Sexy School Master Jade Sylvan, (author of Kissing Oscar Wilde), this special Back to School installment of the Literary Roast will features guests from horror burlesque troupe, the Slaughterhouse Sweethearts, who will be sending up some classic horror and sci-fi literature with their signature shocking performances. Come sip on our custom cocktail, the Haterade, and watch the shade-throwing talents of: Stephen Burt, Dan Chelotti, Fem Bones, Belle Gunz, Wes Hazard, Kevin Harrington, Allix Mortis, Jane Doe, Krysten Hill, Busty Keaton, and Meff.
