Home.Stead Bakery & Cafe is delighted to host an Artist Reception featuring the local painter and contemporary preservationist, Matthew Dickey, on December 7, 2023.
This is your opportunity to meet the artist and learn some local history beyond the facade.
Matthew Dickey is a painter, photographer, and streetscape curator. He has a deep interest in how and why cities look the way they do. Dickey paints and photographs architecture as a way to excite and inform others about the history around them. He is a current artist fellow at the St. Botolph Club.
Dickey is a regular contributor to the popular website, Accidentally Wes Anderson and works as a contemporary preservationist for the Boston Preservation Alliance.
