Since our announcement in February and our first event in May, we've been meeting with supporters, tweaking our business plan, learning about the coffee business, and working on designs for a terrific space near Boston University. Building a business from the ground up, especially one as unique as ours, is no easy task, so it's been tremendously helpful to have supporters like you by our side.


We're excited to announce the next phase of our plan – the launch of a crowd funding campaign that will allow supporters around the world an opportunity to help build The Grind. As you might expect, there are a lot of costs involved in building a business, especially one where the profits are going to charitable causes, and we need donations from people like you to help make it happen.


And so, we invite you to continue your support for The Grind by coming out to a fun, casual launch party for our crowd funding campaign:


The event will take place in the wicked cool Foundation Room inside the House of Blues – seriously, check it out. You'll learn more about our progress in building the business and you'll meet other great people who want to improve our world. And of course, we'll unveil our eagerly anticipated online fundraising campaign, including the spectacular video we've been working on this summer. Light apps on us, drinks on you.
We’ll be set up to accept donations in any form at the event, though you'll likely want to give through the campaign site to take advantage of our awesome perks. And just a reminder that you can support us anytime by giving on our website.


As we like to say: We can't save the world alone. And even if we could, where's the fun in that? So, get off your butt and Grind with us. We think you'll like it!
