The Grayson School is hosting CogniCon on October 27 where parents can participate in engaging presentations from experts in the field of giftedness while our teachers provide brain-powered activities for kids Pre-K through grade 8.
— Learn and discuss research and best practices on creativity, technology, and other topics of interest from Dr. Brian Housand, an educational consultant and coordinator of the Academically or Intellectually Gifted Program at UNC Wilmington, Hoagies' Gifted Education Pages Founder, Carolyn K., and Jill Williford Wurman, Director of Research at The Grayson School.
— Meet and network with others who live with, work with, teach, and advocate for gifted children.
— Students are placed in age, ability, and passion groupings for conducting experiments, performing improv, exploring complex math concepts, creating graphic novels, immersing themselves in a history simulation, and more from our gifted educators.
