Design Museum Mornings with Kristian Kloeckl, Northeastern University
As flexible work practices are freeing people to work anywhere, more discoveries are being made for new places to work. The public park and cafe around the corner become as much a place for activity as the traditional workplace. The way people work is changing and traditional workplace configurations are challenged to keep up.

April’s Design Museum Mornings presentation features Kristian Kloeckl of Northeastern University. Kristian teamed up with architect Bryan Shiles of WRNS Studio on a year-long research studio with students at Stanford University and Northeastern University called “Situated Work + Public Life”. His talk will present themes and findings from the research, just published in a new book: “Workplace + the Public Realm“. This presentation kicks off at 8:30 am on the morning of April 28th at Red Thread + Steelcase, and will feature audience Q&A, breakfast, coffee, and plenty of great design discussion.
