The Umbrella Community Arts Center and The Concord Film Project will welcome audiences on April 21 for a screening of Habemus Papam (We Have a Pope). In this film directed by Nanni Moretti, Cardinal Melville finds himself thrust into a position he never expected and doesn’t want when he is elected Pope. After he panics as he is about to be presented to the faithful in St. Peter’s Square, the Vatican decides to employ a psychiatrist, who is neither particularly religious nor committed to the task, to try to resolve the new Pope’s reluctance to assume his new responsibilities.
Doors open at 6:30 PM and the film begins at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $10 and include a bag of popcorn. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online (additional fees apply to online ticket purchases). The Umbrella is located at 40 Stow Street, Concord, Massachusetts. Visit www.theumbrellaarts.org or call 978-371-0820 for tickets and information.
