Join the Batch Yard in Everett on Wednesday, March 25th, from 6-8pm for our Architect, Artist, & Designer Panel Discussion and Q&A Session. As a participant in the 2015 Boston Design Week, visit the home of the former Charleston Chew Factory, now a luxury apartment community, for an architectural journey of reclamation, reuse, and rebirth.
Enjoy light refreshments while you tour our designer interiors including soaring ceilings, polished concrete floors, reclaimed wood furniture and flooring, and an art collection throughout the space. See firsthand how the visionary reuse of existing and reclaimed elements transformed this industrial candy factory into a true loft style development. Make sure to grab a snack-sized Charleston Chew to sweeten your experience!
At 7:00pm, return to our warm lounge, where you will join those responsible for this transformation as they lead a panel discussion highlighting the rich history, reclamation process, and architectural rebirth, of the building. The panel will include Linda Neshamkin, Neshamkin French Architects, Jenny French and Anda French, French 2D Architects, Philip Koether, Philip Koether Architects, Bill Brown, Brown Sardina Landscape Architects, Ken Hagan, Sheskey Architects and Duncan Johnson. Afterwards, you are invited to participate in a lively Q&A session.
We are pet friendly community, and warmly welcome you to bring your furry friend to enjoy this event alongside you!
