Join us as we celebrate the opening of this retrospective exhibition with a reception and panel discussion featuring the artists and members of Equality Labs.
“From End Caste Apartheid to Smash Brahminical Patriarchy: The Art of Equality Labs” brings together the political art of the South Asian Bahujan American collective, Equality Labs. This exhibition explores their pathmaking work to break critical conversations related to caste, gender, and religious intolerance that has remade our understandings of both South Asian and Asian American immigrant identity.
From End Caste Apartheid to Smash Brahminical Patriarchy: The Art of Equality Labs is on view Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm, from February 25 – April 12, 2019
