This month, check some of the hottest restaurants and bars now open off of your bucket list. Trust us, these aren’t just any old joints: we’ve rounded up some of the most unique spots with a delicious array of dishes– Asian street food, Spanish tapas, New England clam chowder, French onion soup, and so much more. Time to dig in.

Puttshack

Where: Seaport

Info: Puttshack isn’t just a delicious bar and restaurant– it's also a 26,000-square-foot minigolf course! You’ll have two whole floors to practice your putt-putt, sip on spectacular cocktails, jam to good music, and enjoy breathtaking views of the waterfront.

Barcelona Wine Bar (pictured)

Where: Porter Square

Info: The only thing better than tapas and vino is tapas and vino at Barcelona Wine Bar, one of Boston’s all-time faves. Head to the brand new Cambridge location for delectable patatas bravas and a glass of Spanish wine.

An Sibin

Where: Inman Square

Info: Craving some whiskey? This speakeasy-inspired bar carries one of the largest whiskey lists in Cambridge, and it has the cocktails you’ve been dreaming of trying.

Batifol

Where: Kendall Square

Info: Bonsoir, Batifol. With its elegant lighting and chic velvet boots, this new Parisian brasserie has us feeling like we’re dining right on the Seine. The impressive wine selection and classic dishes only add to the magnificence.

Little Whale Oyster Bar

Where: Back Bay

Info: Quaint seafood restaurants are the epitome of New England, and there’s nothing more classic than the new Little Whale Oyster Bar. It’s tucked away in an old South End brownstone and offers a one-of-a-kind selection of fresh seafood dishes (including a raw bar).

The Wig Shop

Where: Downtown

Info: Beneath an old wig shop lies a hidden, underground cocktail lounge— with some of Boston’s best drinks. For an unforgettable experience, admire the bar’s ‘70s retro vibes while sipping quirky cocktails and munching on fancy bites.

Mimi’s Chūka Diner at Artifact Cider

Where: Central Square

Info: We have great news– Mimi’s Chūka Diner, the delicious pop-up in Artifact Cider Project, is here to stay! This delectable Japanese-Chinese eatery has some of Boston’s most unique and flavorful dishes (like the miso caramel-drizzled cider donuts… yum.)

Bonus: highly anticipated restaurants coming soon

We’re eagerly awaiting our first taste from these incredible Boston restaurants, set to open in the next few weeks.

Pescador

Where: Kenmore Square

Info: We can’t wait for the opening of Pescador, a unique coastal grill with inspirations from Spanish and Argentinian cuisines. The dining room includes floor-to-ceiling windows and a ceviche bar.

Comfort Kitchen

Where: Dorchester

Info: Comfort Kitchen transforms from a day-time café to an extraordinary restaurant at night, serving flavorsome dishes inspired by meals from the African diaspora. Bostonians from all over can unite over a shared love for comfort food.

Tenderoni’s

Where: Fenway

Info: Craving an extra cheesy slice? A full-sized Tenderoni’s debuts this November. The pizza joint will have a lively atmosphere, a full bar, and even a take-out window– so you can bring a pie home for the family.
