Testing on Tap: A Usability Testing Event at Wayfair

For one night only, Wayfair and Drizly, partnering with Creative Mornings, General Assembly, and Boston Tech Freelancers, are rewriting the rules of usability testing: no observation rooms, no awkward moderators—just our prototypes, drinks, and your honest feedback!

That’s right, we’re using beer to help us build better products. How? By designing software and features that are so easy to use, you can navigate them like second nature—even after a drink (or two).

This is where you come in. Join fellow creatives, product managers, engineers, and more at Wayfair’s HQ, where you can cool off with a cold one and play around with new features we’ve been brewing up, like an app that allows you to see life-size versions of products in real time using Google Tango’s AR technology. Spot something you don’t quite get, or have an idea that could make our beta version better? Share it! You’re encouraged to loosen up and tell us how you really feel.

The fun will unfold as follows:
6:00 PM – Arrival & Networking
6:30 PM – Welcome Speech
6:45 PM – Testing Begins

Tickets are $5 per person, which includes admission, small bites, and exclusive access to emerging features. Oh, and also: beer and wine provided by Drizly!

Wayfair is located in The Offices at Copley Place. From the mall, take the elevator or escalators to the Sky Lobby level. From there, security will direct you to the event space within the Wayfair office.
