Join the storytellers of Boston By Foot at Sam Adams Brewing’s newly opened Bier Keller for a special tasting of four different selections of Sam Adams beer, paired with an interesting historical tale.


Beer played a role in shaping Boston’s history, to say nothing of Sam Adams himself. Come for a spirited discussion of: beer making in Colonial times; why beer was so popular then; how to get banned from a tavern; and some debunking of popular myths. Everyone will get sent home with a recipe for our favorite beer cocktail – Whistlebelly Vengence.
