The Argentine tango show “Blind: Strength In Vulnerability”, directed by Ana Padron and Diego Blanco from the New York City-based company Tango for All, will hold its premiere performance in the Boston area on August 4th at Ultimate Tango Dance School in Medford. The dance will be accompanied by live music from the Pedro Giraudo Quartet, directed by multiple Grammy Award-winning bassist and composer Pedro Giraudo. Tickets include table seating, refreshments and a three-course dinner.
“Blind” forges a new vision for tango that does not rely on familiar technique, traditional gender roles or even the faculty of sight. This innovative show explores the dynamics of relationship and intimacy in ways that will surprise and delight.
