Join us Saturday, May 20 at 7:30 pm as we welcome Tango world champion Julian Cataño for an evening of dance! A professional Tango dancer for over 10 years, Cataño hails from Colombia and was named Tango World Champion in 2016. This event is a fundraiser for Nahant’s premier modern dance company, Forty Steps Dance.
Following their Tango performance, Cataño and partner will lead attendees in a Tango workshop. All experience levels welcome! This event will be held at the Nahant Community Center, Dance Dimensions Studio, 41 Valley Road, Nahant, MA. Tickets are $20 for individuals and $35 per couple. Tickets available online at www.fortystepsdance.org and at the door.
All proceeds from this event will benefit Forty Steps Dance’s community performance series. The next free performance will be held Saturday, July 29 at 5 pm at Red Rock Park in Lynn. For more information, please visit www.fortystepsdance.org.
