Please join us for our upcoming Fall Concert. Titled “Symphonic Adventures”, our Fall program features a mix and match symphony with movements from four different classical composers, as well as John Williams’ symphonic suite from the hit Harry Potter film franchise. Listening to symphonic music is not only incredibly enjoyable, but also an epic adventure. A voyage for the senses and fun for the entire family, join the LPO as we take you on a musical journey!

Inspiring the greater Lowell community with quality musical performances since 1987, the Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra continues to provide audiences with lively classical and pops music each season. We offer casual, lighthearted concerts, making audiences of all ages comfortable and engaged.

Comprised of passionate semi-professional and amateur musicians, the LPO not only offers an outlet for local talent, but fosters future generations of musicians and music lovers by actively encouraging area youth to become involved with local music. The LPO enriches youth through the appreciation of concerts, skill development, and showcasing local young musicians’ excellence.

Our 2019 Fall Concert will feature Jacob Hiser of the UMass Lowell Piano Faculty. Jacob is a versatile pianist and violinist who performs and studies a variety of musical traditions. Born and raised in southern Missouri, he grew up playing bluegrass, blues, and classical music, eventually discovering jazz and graduating from Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies. In 2014, he moved to Boston to attend New England Conservatory's Contemporary Improvisation program, graduating with his master's degree in 2016. Currently, Jacob is adjunct piano faculty at University of Massachusetts Lowell and a pianist for Boston Children's Chorus.
