Join us for our annual Cookbook Author Series at The Dewey Square Farmers Market! Susie Middleton, author of "Fresh From the Farm: A Year of Recipes and Stories", will be joining us. Middleton will be selling and signing her cookbook, as well as available to answer any of your culinary questions!
Chef/writer/farmer Susie Middleton is the author of the just-published Fresh From the Farm: A Year of Recipes and Stories (The Taunton Press, 2014), as well as the best-selling Fast, Fresh & Green (Chronicle Books 2010) and The Fresh & Green Table (Chronicle Books 2012). Susie is the former chief editor and current editor-at-large for Fine Cooking magazine, and she blogs regularly about vegetable cooking and growing, as well as life on a small farm, on her website, www.sixburnersue.com.
Susie also blogs for the Huffington Post, consults for Edible Communities, and writes for national magazines. Susie and her partner Roy Riley founded and operate Green Island Farm in West Tisbury on Martha’s Vineyard in 2010. They have 500 laying hens, vegetable crops, and a farm stand where they sell their eggs and vegetables.
