Our November Assembly is more special than usual! We started as an Assembly one year ago, in November 2013. Help us celebrate, and bring a friend with you!


Speaker:
Our speaker this month is Clint Smith - Clint is a teacher, poet, and doctoral candidate in Education at Harvard University. In 2013, he was named the Christine D. Sarbanes Teacher of the Year by the Maryland Humanities Council and is featured in the book, “American Teacher: Heroes in the Classroom” (Welcome Books, 2013). He is a National Poetry Slam champion, an Individual World Poetry Slam finalist, and has served as a cultural ambassador for the U.S. Department of State conducting international workshops on cross-cultural understanding and youth empowerment.
