One of Allston’s most beloved dive bars, Silhouette Lounge – affectionally known as “The Sil” to regulars – hosts its “Summer Music Series” every Monday where local music acts perform in The Sil’s backroom.


On August 1, The Sil will welcome Hall Monitor, Gia Greene & Twelve Birds in a Trenchcoat.

 

While these Boston-area talents perform their sets, fans of Allston’s music scene will enjoy the finer things for which The Sil is best known: its vintage neon signs, budget-friendly pitchers, pool, and – of course – free popcorn.
