Special for ArtWeek, this showing on October 2 is a special celebration of Prince’s legendary talent features a special behind-the-scenes discussion with Planetarium producers and animators and an exclusive look at the creative process for the Museum’s brand new experience and its SubSpace Project series.


Developed as a part of SubSpace Project, the experimental playground for new work at the Museum of Science, Boston, SubSpace: Prince engages audiences in a sensory journey full of innovation, artistry, and imagination, to the pulsating soundtrack of Prince’s essential album, Purple Rain. Utilizing the cutting-edge medium and capabilities of the Planetarium, SubSpace: Prince redefines nightlife in Boston, immersing audiences in a genre-defying homage to a legend.
