Our recent Out of Darkness panel discussion was just the beginning of a series of internal dialogues on timely and important topics within our school. To continue the conversation around touch and assisting in yoga, we will now host a series of student-only forums and consult experts in the field to identify solutions that will create more safety and inclusivity for all our students.
Attend the first student-only input forum with Managing Director Michael Ponte and Owner & Director Justine Cohen to share ways the studio can make you feel safer when it comes to touch. No idea is unwelcome; in fact, on Friday we declared that perfection should not be the enemy of the good. Standing on the sidelines criticizing is easy and any technique or protocol has flaws, but when we take small steps in the right direction, immense good comes.
