It can be easy to assume that the gap between where we are and where we need to be is a lack of knowledge. We assume that if we only had a better strategy, or refined our research, then we could kick off that new business or career we are desperate to launch. What some don’t realize is that the mindset we have and the thoughts that play out in our mind can be a bigger obstacle than an investor turning down our golden startup or business. We have one opportunity to act, execute and deal with an issue, but often we’re just too busy overthinking it.


We wait for that moment when we’re confident when our self-esteem has risen and when we feel better. How many times have you wanted to do something, but it’s postponed with no real measure of when it will be done? It’s simply pushed to one side for that perfect moment.
