On Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018, from 6:00PM - 8:00PM, The Beehive will host the closing celebration for the 26th installment in its continuing art series, Sting!, entitled Body of Light.
Curated by The Beehive’s co-owner and resident curator Jennifer Epstein, and guest artist and curator Jeff Perrott, whose work is represented by Morgan Lehman Gallery in New York, NY and LaMontagne Gallery in Boston, MA, the exhibit united twelve artists who reimagined figuration and light in these works, and who blurred and complicated representational, abstract, formal and conceptual tropes of the body through painting, constructions, prints, photography, and video installations. Join us at The Beehive for a final celebration with the artists, and enjoy the art, live music, and our always delectable food and libation specials.
