ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY CLASSES
Startup Institute Community Classes aim to extend tech education and career training to the greater community of Boston, at the same time supporting mission-driven nonprofits in our city. Proceeds from these events go to programming and scholarships that support inclusion in the tech sector. This month's featured nonprofit is Dress For Success, an organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools needed to thrive in work and in life. Interested in this org? You can get involved here.

COST
Your $5 admission fee will be donated to Dress For Success and used to further the education and careers of women in our city. Want to give more? Check out the Dress For Success wish list on Amazon Smile to donate in-demand clothing items directly to their Boston boutique.

YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Peggy Yu, Managing Director, Startup Institute
Peggy oversees the New York program and helps manage the overall program experience for both New York and Boston. Before joining Startup Institute, Peggy served as interim director and associate director of the Arthur Rock Center for Entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School. Her interest in technology and entrepreneurship is longstanding, starting from her days in the transportation industry where she worked in sales, operations, and logistics at NOL Group. Following business school, Peggy worked for C Space (formerly Communispace) and then moved to San Francisco and joined CBS Interactive, where she was responsible for the monetization strategy and business development partnerships of CNET Download.com, then the highest trafficked CBSi site.
She's a champion sleeper, lover of books, and rabid Chicago sports fan. Peggy holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Communication Studies from Northwestern University.

Thank you for signing up for this month's community class. We are looking forward to meeting you.
