Come empty-handed and leave with a functioning rubber stamp for decorating and personalizing labels, gifts, and stationery! Participants will be familiarized with the materials used in hand-carving a design into rubber, watch step-by-step carving demonstrations, and practice with provided tools. Using either instructor-suggested images or a design of their own creation, participants will carve their own rubber stamp to take home and put to use!


Thanks to Colleen's Ice Cream and Sandwich Shop for hosting this workshop. We'll have some special ice cream and sundae-inspired flash sheets for the occasion!

This class will be taught by local artist Kit Collins. Kit has created hand-carved rubber stamps for commercial clients including the ICA/Boston, GRLSQUASH and BRAIN Arts Organization.


This class will be held at Colleen's Ice Cream and Sandwich Shop in Medford Square – a neighborhood institution since 1990! Make sure to leave time for a snack or a sundae after the workshop. Thanks, Colleen's!
