The Whale tells the story of Charlie, a six hundred pound recluse who hides away in his Northern Idaho apartment quietly eating himself to death in the wake of a personal tragedy. With his health quickly failing, Charlie makes one last desperate attempt to connect with his estranged teenage daughter Ellie, a sharp-tongued and wildly unhappy teen whom he has not seen in 17 years. Also in the mix for what could be Charlie’s final days are Liz, Charlie’s enabling caregiver; Elder Thomas, a Mormon on a mission who becomes caught up in Charlie’s drama; and Mary, Charlie’s ex-wife.

$15 Student Rush tickets are available in person at the Box Office window 1 hour before curtain. Valid for Full Time students Age 25 or under. Cash only.
