On Sunday, November 13th, the Syrian-American Medical Society (SAMS) will hold “Songs for Syria – A Concert for Humanitarian Relief” at Old South Church in Boston.

The Syrian-American Medical Society is a non-profit, non-political, professional organization representing thousands of Syrian-American medical professionals in the United States that provides humanitarian assistance to Syrians in need. In 2015, SAMS reported supporting over 2.6 million Syrians with life-saving medical aid.

The event will feature music by Klezperanto and the Layaali Arabic Music Ensemble. Guests will listen to music, hear stories about Syria, learn about the humanitarian crisis in the country, and be invited to support SAMS.
