The Song of the Soul is a unique blend of soulful world music with ancient Sanskrit chants, philosophy and cutting-edge sounds. An effortless balance of social, cultural and historical context makes Vikram's meticulously researched music come alive.


All proceeds will benefit rescuing young girls from human trafficking in Sonagachi – Asia’s largest red light district where over 12,000 girls under the age of 18 live.


About Vikram Hazra


Internationally acclaimed artist Vikram Hazra is one of the foremost names in spiritual and world music, with 15 albums and packed concerts in 49 countries to date. He is credited as being the first to introduce the electric guitar and a jazz-rock sensibility into Indian devotional music.


Vikram Hazra doesn't just play music – he opens a doorway for his audiences to touch their own soul. About Project Udaan


Project Udaan gives girls born and raised in the largest red light district of Asia a haven, away from the dangers of human trafficking. It is an initiative to rescue and rehabilitate current child sex workers and at-risk children from the brothels of Sonagachi.


Project Udaan is an initiative by Overseas Volunteer for a Better India (OVBI).
