Celebrate and honor the diverse voices showcased on Somerville Media Center TV, Internet Radio, Podcast & Streaming Networks!
Our 2nd Annual SMC Honors event kicks off on Thursday, April 16 from 6:30 – 9:00pm at the Arts at the Armory.

We need your help to ensure community media is here to stay in Somerville and all proceeds from this event go into an “SMC Future Home” campaign. Your support will help us achieve our goal of raising money to help with our impending future move to a new facility. Based on previous years’ attendance, we anticipate 200 – 250 community members will attend, including leaders in the arts, business, education and local government — providing an excellent networking opportunity for sponsors and guests. We are excited to host an evening full of honor & entertainment for you!
Cocktail Reception & Silent Auction: 6:30pm – 7:30pm
The evening begins with a cocktail reception from 6:30pm – 7:30pm with free craft ale donated by AERONAUT Brewing Company, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and music by DJ Blaire, a Boston based disc-jockey. Guests will be treated to an array of culinary delights prepared by Dave’s Fresh Pasta and will also be entertained on the mezzanine with a retro arcade sponsored by BitBar and a fun photo booth pop-up!
Awards Presentation & Program: 7:30pm – 9:00pm
Following the cocktail reception, guests will enjoy a 90-minute program featuring award presentations that celebrate and honor the diverse voices showcased on Somerville Media Center TV, Internet Radio, Podcast & Streaming Networks! Hosting the event is Boston-area comedian and former Comic-in-Residence at the Comedy Studio, Chloé Cunha, who will make sure we are all LOL’ing throughout the entire awards ceremony!
