The Somerville Community Growing Center and Groundwork Somerville invite you to join us for our Solstice Celebration in the garden. You can meet with other local people and groups interested in addressing climate change through a range of approaches and practices.


Come learn about organizations active in climate justice, solar energy options, making compost tea to help street trees thrive to counter heat island effects—and more! If you and/or your organization are interested in participating or have questions, please contact Lisa at [email protected]


The Growing Center prioritizes the health and well-being of our volunteers and visitors. We will be observing a city-approved Health and Safety Plan, which includes site capacity limits and mask-wearing when social distancing of six feet is not possible. Please remember to bring your mask to this event.
