Join us for a community festival & livebroadcast snowball fight fundraiser for the National Parks Foundation!
TONIGHT, as the snow falls, and Bring Your Own Picnic crescendoes with Hillbilly Holiday, join us for a snowbound celebration followed by an epic night featuring an unmissable Buster Keaton silent film with live music from Jeff Rapsis. All ticket profits from the film will be donated to the National Parks Foundation, and all through the event, the great big twitter wall will be dedicated to outreach and engagement, kicking off our series of events designed to fight for free discourse in science!
The schedule is as follows:
12-7PM -- Bring your own picnic to AERONAUT (family friendly event with kids welcome!)
2-6PM -- Western Rock fundraiser, featuring free live music in the taproom and hillbilly fun of epic proportions!
5-7PM -- The Great Snowpocalypse 2015 Historical Snowball Fight Re-Enactment Party (this event!). Livebroadcast on twitter and via the big AERONAUT projectors! #MWGA
7PM -- Buster Keaton silent film movie event – the classic and hilarious 'Seven Chances' (1925) – featuring live piano accompaniment by Jeff Rapsis.
