The early summertime edition of Smoke & Shadows is bursting with star power! Join us at the Rockwell on June 5 for an evening of intellectual entertainment full of showmanship, charm, and a flair for the dramatic. *Upbeat, edgy, and thought-provoking acoustic rock from power pop duo the Venus Mars Project
*Campy and dramatic burlesque from local titan Ginny Nightshade – cute as a button on a straitjacket!
*Sassy and glamorous Bollywood drag from postcolonial desi queen LaWhore Vagistan
*Bawdy vaudevillian stylings from variety singer and comedienne Niki Luparelli
*Comedy, storytelling, and progressive politics from Kwasi Mensah
