Come celebrate artisanship at Bonde on Small Business Saturday! Artisan Ikram Schelhot will be in the shop from 12-4p with a collection of his exclusive and unique gorgeous one-of-a-kind hand-painted, hand-sewn & hand-fringed silks, scarves and shawls. You can meet the artist and ask him questions about his craft.
About Ikram Schelhot
Born in Cairo (Egypt), Ikram Schelhot later moved to Paris (France) for several years where he created his first painted silk works. In the late 1970s, he settled in Montreal (Quebec-Canada), where he still resides. An extraordinarily talented graphic designer, he dedicated his career in exclusivity to lux editing graphics. In 2020 after a long productive career, Ikram Schelhot returned to his first passion and plunged back with intensity into the creation of unique pieces that reflect the craftsmanship of French Haute Couture.
