Terra Madre Day is Slow Food’s annual day to promote the diversity of food traditions and production, and to show how our network is using its creativity and knowledge to express our love for the planet and defend the future for the next generations.
Since 2009, each year on Slow Food’s anniversary, December 10, food communities and Slow Food convivia all around the world celebrate local eating, agricultural biodiversity and sustainable food production. Celebrations take shape with hundreds of events demonstrating diversity and Slow Food’s philosophy of good, clean and fair food for all.
This year we invite you to join the Slow Food Boston board for a special shared supper at Loyal Nine where Milton native and James Beard award semifinalist Chef Marc Sheehan (formerly of Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Menton and Bondir) will craft a multi-course shared supper exclusively for guests of Slow Food.
Your tickets include food, optional pairings, and all tax and gratuity. Please advise us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions in your registration.
