Sliding Scale Xmas Morning Yoga Fundraiser offered by Barbara Freedman, E-RYT. 12/25, 9:30-11 am, 369 Mass Ave, Arlington Center for Yoga. Proceeds go towards free props and yoga classes for Arlington area seniors (at venues such as the Arlington Senior Center and West Medford Community Center). Class card/$20/or pay what you can. Ample room and mats, props, and modifications in this spacious, sunny studio; bring the family. Come to learn about and celebrate the winter solstice and to share in a tradition of mindful presence and gratitude over the holidays. Come to relax and stretch; to get your endorphins flowing; to become more social, less reactive; and to enjoy a yoga flow designed to soothe body and mind. Or come simply to support our seniors. Our holiday class consist of an accessible, gently athletic vinyasa yoga flow with sun and moon salutations to honor the solstice.
