The Skillset Series is a series of professional development workshops geared toward artists and independent contractors that aim to sharpen the business side of things. Topics include web development, legal concerns, money matters, writing, and PR.


Accounting for Artists. This workshop is hosted by Anna Koon and is intended for every artist regardless of whether art is a hobby or a business. All are welcome! Handling the financial aspects of creativity can be overwhelming so it is often overlooked. This workshop will cover topics like: deductions for artists, year-round bookkeeping, creating a budget, taxes and accounting tools and why keeping track of your finances matters in many ways. Participants will walk away with a confident understanding of how to effectively handle their finances no matter how big or small their business aspirations are.


These workshops take place every Friday 12-2pm.
Each workshop is 25$, with a discount for students (email [email protected] for code).
Webinar access is available for those who would like to attend but cannot do so in person.
