This six-week class (from Saturday, June 17th to July 22nd) builds on the lessons taught in Sketch Comedy: Level One, focusing on getting better at creating sketch comedy. Each week you will get to write and workshop new sketches. We will also focus on developing your comedic voice by honing in on what makes you laugh to write with this in mind, and using constraints to your advantage to spur your unique creativity. As a class project, we will collaborate on making one sketch video throughout the six weeks to learn the process of taking a sketch through every stage: premise generation, first draft, revisions, production, filming, and editing.
Pre-req: To enroll you must have completed Sketch Level One at any comedy theater.
