Three of Philadelphia’s favorite female-fronted folk acts are teaming up this Friday, November 2 for a powerful night of celebration and song as Jamey’s House Of Music hosts “Sirens On Stage” with chart-topping artist Meghan Cary, Marion Halliday and Lisa Jeanette.
During this special, intimate show, Cary will perform a selection of songs from her latest album Sing Louder as well as a few of her most beloved tunes from her catalog with fellow bandmate and husband Peter Farrell, and Bob Beach joining on harp and flute. Sing Louder, which debuted among the top 10 on the US / International Folk DJ Radio Charts, is being played at mainstream radio in more than 40 markets throughout the country and in Canada. Continuing to resonate with fans with its poignant, heartfelt messages and beautifully-orchestrated melodies, Cary’s newest collection of songs has kept her on the road for the past year, playing at some of the most renowned festivals and venues up and down the East Coast.
“Last time I shared a show with these two incredible artists, there was so much spontaneous musical magic, we had to do it again,” said Cary. “I think it’s perfect that we’re doing it at Jamey’s – such a warm and inviting listening room…but with enough seats (hopefully!) to fit everyone this time.”
