An eye-opening look at the birthplace of the modern technological era, Silicon Valley, Randall MacLowry and Tracy Heather Strain's award winning documentary for PBS's AMERICAN EXPERIENCE explores how a team of trailblazing scientists transformed the Santa Clara Valley into a worldwide hub of industry and innovation.

This event includes screening of the film, a panel with the film makers, and free pizza and drinks. For Seaport Week, we invite you to explore the relationship the establishment of Silicon Valley as outlined in the film has with the emerging tech scene here in Boston.

Film Posse is a Fort Point Channel-based video production studio that is crafting high-quality documentary stories for the digital era. Film Posse is also a woman and minority-owned business that seeks to bring a wide variety of experiences to the screen and opportunities behind the scenes.

AMERICAN EXPERIENCE is a production of WGBH-Boston.

This event is part of Summer on the Waterfront's Seaport Neighborhood Week, generously presented by the InterContinental© Boston.
