Silent Book Club
Always wishing you had more time to read? Trying to meet more bookish folks? Then Silent Book Club is perfect for you! Treat yourself once a month to a night of reading and friendship. It's a great way to practice self-care during the week, meet new people, and find great book recommendations. The book is not assigned; just bring the one you are currently reading and dive in!
At the beginning of each meeting, there will be a 30 minute period to order food/drinks and mingle, followed by an hour of silent reading, and concluding with a half hour of more socializing and wrap-up.
We look forward to meeting our fellow book lovers!
Write Night
Did you know Trident hosts a drop in writing group on select weekdays each month? Meetings begin with brief introductions, followed by time to write independently and the option to share your work at the end.
Bring a piece you're working on or try your hand at something new — all writers and genres of writing are welcome! Our only rule? Kindness above all. No hate speech, slurs, or sexually explicit language.
Come solo or bring a friend! Either way, our full menu of dinner, drinks, and snacks will be available for you to nosh throughout the night!
